71% of all 2022 Lost Coast permits have already been booked
On October 1st, 2021, backpacking permits to hike the Lost Coast trail in 2022 were released. One day later, on October 2nd, only 29% of all 2022 permits remain!
It doesn’t matter whether you’re looking for weekday or weekend permits. Almost all permits have already been booked for spring, summer, and fall 2022.
The only remaining permits are for January, February, November, and December. Unfortunately, these months are the rainiest. They see between 11 and 12 days of rain:
