I hope you’re able to get outside for Memorial Day weekend! If you have yet to plan a backpacking trip this summer, know that last-minute permits are still available at most parks (see below).
Notable releases include:
- June 1: Rocky Mountain entrance reservations open for July.
- June 1: Grand Canyon’s October lottery closes.
- June 5: Zion overnight and Narrows reservations open for July–September trips.
- June 15: Maroon Bells-Snowmass reservations open for August–November trips.
California
Inyo — overnight
